Rainbow Bridge Memories

This page is dedicated in loving memory to the MNSR foster and adopted Shelties who are waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge.

Rainbow Bridge Stories

Hannah first arrived in rescue in 2013 and found happiness with her dear mom Judith. When Judith passed away suddenly in late 2019, Hannah joined another wonderful family. She loved her daily walks and hanging out with her doting daddy, and lived a golden senior life. She did extraordinarily well for her advanced age, even celebrating her 16th birthday. On October 20th, Hannah unfurled her angel wings and joined Judith and her canine siblings who were waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge.

Scout was very happy with his loving family, and had a special connection with his human sister and his best Sheltie friend Ruby. He loved selecting sticks from the woodpile to sneak into the house, snuggling on laps (even though he was far from “lap-sized”), using his “pouty Scouty face” for attention, walks, and toys, toys and more toys. One in a million dogs, he was the life and energy of the house. He loved us with all of his heart, and we loved him back just as much.

Beautiful Mandy gained her angel wings on September 21st, 2021. The best part of her life was the past 6 years with her family who loved her so dearly. Mandy was a very kind and loving dog. Not a fan of cats, but never a foe either. She just would rather avoid them. Mandy did like to make sure the geese stayed out of our yard. She gave the best ‘leaning hugs’, loved helping ‘pre-rinse’ plates before putting in the dishwasher, and would smile for a good scratch. And, until she got older, she loved a good run around in the backyard.

After several transitions in her young life, Lacie found true happiness with a loving mom and dad and three human sisters. Lacie thrived in their devoted attention and even gave the groomer her paw of approval. Lacie gained her angel wings September 10th, 2021.
