    Official family photo to announce my adoption! That’s me, Lunan, the bi-black on the right, next to Skye (blue merle) and Sorn (sable) who is also a Minnesota Sheltie Rescue alum. I’m the 6th Sheltie this sweet family has welcomed into their hearts over the years; I think it’s safe to say I’m amongst Sheltie lovers! They like cats, too, and fortunately, so do I!  Sweet little Dasher has dashed into the hearts of a lovely family who has adopted from Minnesota Sheltie Rescue four times. Dasher runs through the snow like a reindeer, and already loves to follow BIG brofur in Wally the Collie around! Adopted 11/20/22. |
 When Ali came back into rescue, we knew we had to be extra careful in matching her with someone who understood Ali's needs, and who could patiently and compassionately help Ali to adjust and to thrive. We are so pleased that Ali has found her person! Ali's new mom has taken the time to learn what works best for Ali, what Ali likes and doesn't like, and how to help Ali to feel more confident. The connection they have is very special and Ali is happy and feels loved! Adopted 9/27/22. |
 Frosty came into rescue shortly before his 12th birthday. A gentle and friendly little gentleman, one look into his sweet brown eyes and you don’t see age, just love. Frosty worked his charms and he now has both a feline and canine sibling, and a kind mom experienced with rescue Shelties who will give Frosty all the love he so deserves and the best of care! Frosty woofs a big “thanks woof” to his foster family and foster sister for their loving and welcoming accommodations. Frosty, adopted 9/11/22. |
