 Ali came to me just under 2 1/2 years ago. We were both gray-haired old ladies at the time, each with our own anxieties. She was a good girl. She was more than a good girl. She was a gift. Over time, with the help of a wonderful trainer and behavioral consultant, Ali developed confidence and an appreciation for the pets, pats, kind words, and treats (especially the treats) that visitors brought her. As I looked back over my time with her, I came to realize that she was more than fearful. She was also very brave. |
 My beloved sweet Katche got his angel wings today. I feel so lucky that he was part of my life. He was an amazing sweet boy. Everyone that met him loved him a lot. Katche earned a Tracking Dog title. It took 2 years of work to get him to the point where he wasn’t afraid of his world. He did his tracking test like he was on rails. Katche also earned a CGC title. I think he got that title because he was too afraid to move. Katche wasn’t afraid to bark out breakfast or dinner times. |
 Our dear Bailey passed over the rainbow bridge last week. Bailey was 14 1/2 years old. We adopted her when she was 5. She was kind, gentle and absolutely loved to play fetch and go on walks. We will dearly miss her. We were so blessed to have her in our lives for 9 1/2 years. We loved her very, very, very much and we are very sad she is no longer with us. We trust she is happy and healthy on the other side. She added a great deal to our lives. She is very very missed. |
