Rainbow Bridge Memories

This page is dedicated in loving memory to the MNSR foster and adopted Shelties who are waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge.

Rainbow Bridge Stories

Corky passed away at age 14 in May after battling cancer twice since late 2022. We miss him greatly but are very glad for the years we got to spend with him since he came to live with us in 2016.

Our sweet, beautiful foster Bandit has gained his angel wings. Bandit came to us at the age of 12. His foster family adored him and lovingly cared for him. He quickly became part of their family, enjoying special birthday treats, exploring new places on family vacations, and being silly and happy at home. Bandit is tremendously missed.

He was ‘Lord Sinclare, Earl of Scalloway (Scally) to us’, ‘Mr. Scally’ to his groomer Oxana, ‘Wags’ to his travel caregiver Nan, 'Criss (Cross)’ to his foster mom Lynn. Despite requesting he give up an old quirk to replace a newly acquired one, he kept a collection of them all - from side eye and weak pillow skills to only accepting bro kisses and shaking off any girl germs, he was one of a kind.
