 Ajay was a happy, active boy who was thrilled to have all the love and attention from his wonderful family. Ajay was especially happy when he was at the cabin with them and could go fishing with his dad. When his dad passed, Ajay was a great comfort to his mom.  Billy joined his loving forever family in 2007. They worked through some challenges in the beginning that helped Billy to understand that he was loved, understood, and that this truly was forever. Billy was his mom's dog; wherever she was, that was where he wanted to be. He enjoyed his daily walks, and if you were one of his "chosen" people, he would back up so you could scratch him. Billy crossed the Rainbow Bridge on May 29th, 2017 and is very missed by his beloved mom. |
 It is with the heaviest of hearts, that I share the passing of our dear, sweet Abby. She came into our lives over 5 yrs ago and was the most constant, loyal, funny and loving soul ever after. She saw us through marriage, pregnancies, two babies and two toddlers with unending spirit and grace. One tough cookie, she survived her first home situation and the loss of a dear sister before she came into Rescue, as well as numerous health scares over the years. She passed over the rainbow bridge quickly and peacefully at home, in my arms and is now waiting for us on the other side. She was our first baby, my constant companion and our one, special girl. I am forever grateful to Minnesota Sheltie Rescue for bringing her into our lives and for the 5 1/2 amazing years we had with our Senior Rescue. Please don't ever hesitate to consider a senior dog if you are looking for a rescue dog - they are truly remarkable souls with so much love to give. |
 Cupcake was a very special girl who chose her forever home in an unconventional way! We all discovered what an amazing bond she and her mom had. Cupcake is dearly missed by her mom and her canine siblings Daisy & Jasper and foster sister Maggie. "My sweet Cupcake has moved on to a better place. One where she could run, chase, bark and play. I will miss her silliness and enthusiasm and master food-stealing skills. I will miss HER." May 26, 2017 |
