Brodie found his best life when he joined a wonderful family that included two human boys, a feline sibling, MNSR Sheltie Wynda, and he was later joined by MNSR Sheltie Sorn. Brodie liked to oversee his backyard from the deck, enjoying the sun and breezes. He took his guard duty by the front window seriously, barking at people out walking, making deliveries, and the Wednesday morning trash thieves. At night, he slept on the bed, often with his kitty, Miss Mi-In, snuggled next to him. He was a happy and very cuddly little guy and a delightful family member. Brodie crossed the Rainbow Bridge on August 23, 2020 at the age of 14. |

When Carrick came to Minnesota Sheltie Rescue, he was in need of someone who could help him to feel safe with people. We were very fortunate to have a wonderful family for him who wanted to help a Sheltie who may not have had the best experiences with humans in the past. He thrived with the structure, routine and consistency they provided, and was a loyal, loving family member. Carrick loved to watch for squirrels, go for walks, play with his squeaky toys, and was a great traveler when his family escaped the Minnesota winters for a warmer climate. Carrick crossed the Rainbow Bridge on August 18th, 2020 from complications during gallbladder surgery and is so very missed. |

Our beloved Shylee crossed the rainbow bridge on August 17th. We miss her dearly. I can't believe that our sweet baby girl is gone. I remember the day you introduced me to her. How could I not fall in love instantly? She was truly a perfect girl. Beautiful inside and out. She loved her housemates (and her food) but she really loved her little boy. He would always call her Ninny. We don't know why but that became her second name. They had a special bond. I really want to thank you and MNSR for bringing her into our lives. What your organization does is wonderful. I was always impressed with the yearly follow up, even after so many years from our adoption. |

Dear little Lassie has gained her angel wings on August 11th, 2020 at age 15. Lassie appreciated very much to be the one and only in mom's life. She loved having mom's attention, going for short walks together, and being near mom whenever possible. We are grateful for the love and happiness that Lassie received. |
