Rainbow Bridge Memories

This page is dedicated in loving memory to the MNSR foster and adopted Shelties who are waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge.

Rainbow Bridge Stories

Oliver joined his forever family soon after they had adopted a Sheltie girl named Suzy, and Oliver and Suzy quickly became the best of friends. Oliver remained a joyful puppy – even as he grew older.  He was always ready to play and was so very clever.  His family described him as the best behaved Sheltie they had ever had. Oliver crossed the Rainbow Bridge in December 2019, rejoining his beloved Suzy.

Tanzy's life started when she joined her forever mom, who allowed Tanzy to thrive through her therapy work. Tanzy's mom shared many updates of her bringing smiles to others and helping children to become comfortable with reading. Tanyz earned her angel wings on December 17th, 2019. She lives on in the hearts of every child and senior whose life she touched. She will be so missed.

Sweet Angus was our long-term medical foster, lovingly cared for with two other foster Shelties. He was an easygoing boy, who was happiest at home with his foster mom, where she was able to spend lots of time with him. Angus crossed the Rainbow Bridge on November 25th, 2019, soon after his foster mom had also passed away. We like to think that she was waiting for him with open arms as he gained his angel wings.

Petey came to MNSR from a humane society and soon joined a large extended family of Sheltie lovers and MNSR Shelties! Petey enjoyed taking snow baths, and he and his mom loved to play ball together and go for walks. The family expanded when they were joined by another MNSR Sheltie, Foxie. Petey gained his angel wings on November 21st, 2019. His little sister and I miss him greatly! Until we meet on the other side, I love you to the end of time and beyond, buddy!
